Merion Village Dental

This place is little more than a scam. Ignore their 4.6 stars average, they financially pressure their clientele to give them a 5 star rating on Google to counteract the reality. Listen to the 1 star reviewers. Myself and others I know who have been to this dentist have all had similar, corroborating experiences. They invent altogether or exaggerate the severity of the issue in order to trick you into consenting to expensive care you don't need. If you resist, they pressure you to have the procedure. They lie about insurance coverage. They lie about everything. Go to literally any other dentist.

The staff is always so kind and professional. From the minute I walked in till the checkout everyone I’ve interacted with has been amazing. The dental assistant I had at my most recent visit (I believe her name was Lauren) was so friendly and really helped to calm my anxiety. I would recommend Merion Village Dental to anyone I know! I’m very happy I made the switch and started coming here. :)

The compassion and level of care you get from MVD is unmatched. I will never want to go to another dentist. I look forward to my visits to the dentist now because I know I will be met with smiles, laughs, and be well taken care of. The first time I came here my teeth and gums were not in the best shape but I never felt judged or shamed. They worked with me financially and got me taken care of and now I am much more confident in my smile and part of the no cavity club! Carrie is my favorite hygienist, she always goes above and beyond! I would recommend everyone to go here.

I’ve been going here for years and have always had an extremely positive experience. The staff is knowledgeable, caring, and friendly. The office is modern and clean. Carrie has been my dental hygienist since I became a patient and with her bubbly attitude and kind nature, she always makes my visits fun and positive! Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a dentist in the Columbus area!

SCAMMERS. Please be careful with the Recommened services they suggest. During a routine cleaning They told me I had a cavity and that they were going to do a $1500 root canal to fix it. I said, "the hell you are?!" I have a cavity and you can do a filling. They spent the entire appointment attempting to to convince me a medical doctor (which they didn't realize ) that I needed a root canal to fix a cavity. They had a women come in and preach for 5 minutes on why I needed a root canal for a cavity. I refused over and over again for the rest of the appointment. Even as I was checking out they were still trying to get me to finance a root canal for a cavity. A CAVITY that I had no pain, no discomfort, they didn't know how deep the cavity was. I don't like pressure selling on medical procedures that aren't needed or justified just to make a dollar.

Had been going here for years. We live across town but service was always great. Made a cleaning appointment for my daughter. We arrived on time for the appointment and was told that my daughter couldn’t be seen because I never confirmed the appointment. She said I could reschedule. NO! I made this appointment in person. I shouldn’t have to make an appointment and be in contact with them every second of the day just to keep it. Switching my entire family to a different dentist. I’m sure I can find something much closer to home that won’t cancel my appointment without notice.
